These Bookkeeping Services Terms apply whenever vOfiz provides bookkeeping and accounting support, and supplement — not replace — the vOfiz General Terms of Service and the Master Terms incorporated into your signed Engagement Agreement. If you have not signed an Engagement Agreement for bookkeeping services, these Terms describe the terms under which such services would be provided.

1. Scope of Service

Bookkeeping services include accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, account maintenance, and preparation of records for your CPA. On request, vOfiz can also provide related consulting — strategy meetings, budgeting, process design and implementation, and accounting systems training and integration setup.

2. Out of Scope

vOfiz will not adjust your records to reflect GAAP unless expressly agreed in your Engagement Item. vOfiz will not audit or otherwise verify the data you submit. Reports and financial information vOfiz provides are for your internal management use only, subject to interpretation by your CPA or tax professional. vOfiz does not perform compilations, reviews, or audits of financial information, and does not provide legal services.

3. Your Responsibilities

You will provide vOfiz unrestricted access to: documents reflecting your financial transactions (check stubs, cash receipt and sales summaries, bank statements and canceled checks, accounts receivable/payable listings, and support for property and equipment purchases, trades, sales, and dispositions); information on any mortgage or pledge of business assets, personal guarantees, debt, or leases affecting your operations; any other financial information needed for your accounting records, trial balance, and tax returns; and identification of all cash receipts by source and details of all cash transactions.

4. General Terms Govern

Fees and payment, confidentiality, liability limitations, termination, and record retention for this service are governed by the Master Terms incorporated into your Engagement Agreement, and are not repeated here. Where any term in these Bookkeeping Services Terms conflicts with the Master Terms on a matter specific to bookkeeping services, these Terms control for that matter only.
